# How do I manually verify an external account?

If you received two micro-deposits, you’ll need to verify them. To verify the micro-deposits, check your external account and note the two deposit amounts:

**For online banking on a desktop browser**:

1. Click your profile name.
2. Click **Settings**.
3. Under _Accounts_, hover over the menu next to the new external account.
4. Click **Verify**.

**From the Happen Bank app**:

1. Tap the gear icon.
2. Tap **Linked Accounts**.
3. Tap **Verify**.

After you’ve completed the steps in online banking or the Happen Bank app, enter the two micro-deposit amounts. Once verified, you can start making transfers to and from your external account.
