Happen Bank offers loans up to $75,000. For your specific offer, we’ll review the information in your application and credit report to determine an amount we think will be affordable for you. This’ll help keep your payments manageable and set you up for successful repayment.
Happen Bank loans have a one-time origination fee between 0% and 8% of the total loan amount, so keep that in mind when reviewing your offer. Your annual percentage rate (APR) will give you a good high-level look at the cost of your loan.

Home improvement loans: How to finance your next project
The best home improvement loan depends on two things: how much equity you have and how quickly you need the funds. Homeowners with significant equity can access lower starting rates through a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) or home equity loan, but closing costs and appraisal fees may narrow that advantage on mid-size projects. An unsecured personal loan requires no equity, no appraisal, and can be funded in days1 – at a fixed rate that won't move over the life of the project. Happen Bank offers eligible applicants a 1% interest rate discount on personal loans used for home improvement.
Best personal loan rates in 2026: How to compare lenders accurately
The best personal loan rate in 2026 isn't the one with the lowest advertised interest rate: it's the one with the lowest APR, which includes additional finance charges. APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is the only apples-to-apples comparison figure because it includes both the interest rate and any origination fee.
Debt consolidation is a debt management strategy that uses methods like a debt consolidation loan to combine multiple debts into an easy-to-manage monthly payment—usually with a lower interest rate.
Does debt consolidation hurt your credit score?
Consolidating debt often helps your credit—at least over the long term. A lower interest rate and a single fixed monthly payment make it easier to pay down debt, and lower credit card balances and on-time loan payments often help raise your score.
How to evaluate your loan offer (and know if it’s right for you)
There are many situations when borrowing money, such as when buying a home, financing an education, growing a business, making home repairs and improvements, or consolidating debt (such as with a personal loan), can make good sense.
For Personal Loans, APR ranges from 5.96% APR to 35.96% APR and origination/processing fee ranges from 0.00% to 8.00% of the loan amount. APRs and origination/processing fees are determined at the time of application. The lowest APR may be available to borrowers with excellent credit, subject to additional factors including, but not limited to, loan amount, loan term, and sufficient investor commitment. Advertised rates and fees are valid as of July 06, 2026, are subject to change without notice, and may not be available for all Personal Loan products and/or through all application channels or platforms.
A representative example of payment terms for a Personal Loan is as follows: a borrower receives a loan of $15,262 for a term of 36 months, with an interest rate of 13.99% and a 6% origination fee of $916, for an APR of 18.40%. In this example, the borrower will receive $14,346 and will make 36 monthly payments of $522. Loan amounts range from $1,000 to $75,000 and loan term lengths range from 24 months to 84 months. Some amounts, rates, and term lengths may be unavailable in certain states, and may not be available for all Personal Loan products and/or through all application channels or platforms.
Credit eligibility is not guaranteed. APR and other credit terms depend upon credit score and other key financing characteristics, including but not limited to the amount financed, loan term length, and credit usage and history.
